Η DICE Awards 2026 ανακοίνωσε τις υποψηφιότητές της μέσω της Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS), με τους τίτλους Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Ghost of Yōtei, Arc Raiders και Dispatch να κατακτούν τις περισσότερες διακρίσεις φέτος.
Η 29η απονομή των βραβείων θα λάβει χώρα στις 12 Φεβρουαρίου στο Λας Βέγκας, υπό τις ιδιαίτερες συνθήκες των τελευταίων ετών που επηρεάζουν την βιομηχανία του gaming.
Πρώτοι στις υποψηφιότητες: Οι διαδικασίες της AIAS
Τα παιχνίδια Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 και Ghost of Yōtei ηγούνται της κούρσας με οκτώ υποψηφιότητες το καθένα, ενώ οι τίτλοι Arc Raiders και Dispatch ακολουθούν με έξι υποψηφιότητες. Το Blue Prince συγκέντρωσε πέντε και το Death Stranding 2: On the Beach τέσσερις.
Στη διεκδίκηση του βραβείου Game of the Year συμμετέχουν οι εξής τίτλοι:

Οι υποψηφιότητες καθορίστηκαν από panels της AIAS, που περιλαμβάνουν έμπειρους και ταλαντούχους ειδικούς του κλάδου. Οι τελικοί νικητές θα ανακοινωθούν μέσω μυστικής ψηφοφορίας από περισσότερους από 30.000 μέλη της Ακαδημίας.
Η πρόεδρος της AIAS, Meggan Scavio, εξήρε την αφοσίωση και την τεχνογνωσία των κριτών, αναφέροντας ότι φέτος οι συμμετοχές ξεχώρισαν λόγω της δημιουργικότητας, της καλλιτεχνικής ταυτότητας και των τεχνικών επιτευγμάτων τους. Πέρυσι, το Astro Bot αναδείχθηκε ως Game of the Year κερδίζοντας συνολικά τέσσερα βραβεία.
